Great Start Readiness Program
GSRP is Michigan’s state-funded preschool program for four-year-old children with factors which may place them at risk of educational failure. GSRP provides free preschool for families that qualify. This full day program for in-district residents also provides transportation.
To register for our 2018-2019 GSRP program, families must meet the following requirements:
- Must have be 4 years of age on or before September 1, 2018 but not five years of age. Age waivers not permitted until after September 1st, if space if still available.
- Must be a resident of the Holt Public Schools District or any Ingham County School District (consideration is given to in district families first).
- Must meet program eligibility criteria as determined by the State of Michigan.

This program is licensed by the Michigan Dept. of Human Services and funded by a grant from the State of Michigan Dept. of Education in conjunction with the Ingham ISD.
