What is Intersession?
Intersession is a one-week or two-week enrichment program based on your school’s calendar. It is designed to supplement and enhance your child’s education. The program incorporates both academic and enrichment activities designed for your child’s enjoyment. Activities are planned to be intriguing, educational and are centered around a theme. Finally, it allows your child to come together to work with other children while learning new skills. Intersession will be held at your child’s home school. Class begins at 8:30 am and ends at 3:30 pm. It runs during the break in October, February and April. Each day will be filled with educational activities related to our theme. Our staff will provide enrichment activities such as organized games, music, computer lab, arts/crafts, and a special field trip. Additionally, we may have guest speakers come and share with our students.
