Meet Our Board

The Board desires open dialogue with the community. Every Board of Education regular meeting agenda includes an opportunity for public comment. If you wish to address the School Board, please attend the next scheduled board meeting and file a public comment request card or submit your questions and comments in writing to the Board's attention.

If you choose to contact us via email, please note the following guidelines:

  • If you email the Board of Education, all Board members will receive your email. You will receive one response from the Superintendent on behalf of the Board. The Board president or designee may respond on behalf of the Board.
  • If your email concerns a daily or operational issue, it will be forwarded on to the appropriate administrator for a response.
  • Unless an email addresses an individual student matter or is otherwise statutorily protected from disclosure, emails to the Board or its individual members are considered to be a form of public comment and may be shared with others as the Board deems appropriate or as otherwise required.
  • If you choose to email a specific Board member, please include your phone number for a response. If the Board member chooses to respond in email format (though not obligated to do so), it may be copied to all members of the Board and the superintendent.

We welcome and value your input. Thank you for contacting the HPS Board of Education.
